About Dr. Nodari Giorgadze
He was born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1952. He is married, has two daughters and five grandchildren. Since 2003 he has been a citizen of the Slovak Republic. Since 2012 he has been an honorary citizen of Tbilisi (Georgia) and in 2013 became an honorary citizen of Bešeňová (Slovakia). In addition to his business activities, he is active in helping people and working with charities. He completed his studies in the Physics Faculty at the Georgian Technical University and subsequently studied international law at the Tbilisi State University. He received his Doctorate from the Academy of International Law and Economics in Moscow. He served in Afghanistan for two years. He worked as the Chief of Police in Tbilisi.
From 1991 to 1993, he was First Deputy Minister of Defence of Georgia, a member of the Georgian Parliament and Chief Advisor to Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze. Later he worked as a diplomat. He made history by being the first Georgian Ambassador abroad and Chargé d’Affaires of Georgia in Austria (from May 1993 in Vienna). As the head of the Delegation he represented his country at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and was also the Permanent Representative of Georgia at the United Nations Headquarters in Vienna (Vienna International Centre). For several years he also served as General Delegate of the World Organisation of War Veterans for Central and Eastern Europe (headquartered in Paris).
He built the Gino Paradise Bešeňová Thermal Park with the philosophy of developing a thermal swimming pool into a water park with hotels and restaurants. This has made it one of the most significant water parks in Central and Eastern Europe. To develop the Water park in Bešeňová, he has invested more than EUR 40 million. Within the water park he has successfully built 110 apartments in the Luka and Diamant projects. In Kamenica near Komárno, he built two solar parks with a total investment of EUR15 million. He works in the hotel business in Slovakia as well as in Georgia (hotel Gino Park Palace in the Orlové Castle in Považská Bystrica, hotel GINO WELLNESS Mtskheta, hotel GINO WELLNESS Rabati). He bought the Orlové Castle in Považská Bystrica, which hales from the year 1612, and which was in serious disrepair, and invested more than EUR 10 million of his own money to recreate one of the most beautiful castles in Slovakia and Eastern Europe – It is the 4-star GINO PARK PALACE hotel. He is currently involved in several major development projects both in Slovakia and in Georgia. He is the president of Gino Holding, a.s. (Slovakia) and Gino Capital, a.s. (Georgia).
In Georgia he built a duplicate of the Bešeňová water park – GINO Paradise Tbilisi. So far, a total of EUR 35 million has been invested in this project. However, the Gino Paradise water park and apartment complex is only the first part of the largest development project in Georgia – GREEN CITY Tbilisi. In collaboration with world-renowned developers, investors and architects there, Dr. Nodari Giorgadze has established a new and modern district in Tbilisi, where more than 25 000 people will live and work. EUR 700 million is planned for the entire investment. Since 2016, Dr. Nodari Giorgadze has served as Honorary Consul of Georgia in the Slovak Republic.
